Bear Paws and my little pumpkin

I put together all the bear paws and decided to put a small border of the purple...

Here is a picture...I plan to get this quilted next month!

Bear paw progress

I started this quilt top a couple of weeks ago.  I found the fat quarters at a Tuesday Morning and the colors led me to the bear paw block.  I have never done this block before.

I am making it as a throw for a friend for Christmas.

Here is the progress so far.....row one in the works

The fat quarter bundle included a dark purple....do you think it
goes with the orange?  I kind of like it.
